Obituary of Anthony DiMaggio

Anthony DiMaggio, 53, of Absecon passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023.  He was raised in Freehold and most recently resided in Absecon. Anthony was a mortgage broker at Wyndham Worldwide for the last 13 years. He was a U2 superfan and would show his love by cooking for others. Anthony treasured family and poured his boundless energy into the roles he deemed most sacred: loving brother, uncle, nephew, and cousin.  We will all miss his kindness, generosity of spirit, and sense of humor. In his memory always remember that It's a beautiful day, don't let it get away.

Anthony is predeceased by his loving mother, Jeanette DiMaggio and sister, Debbie DiMaggio. He is survived by his three sisters, Sara DiMaggio of Freehold, Gina Kahwaty and her husband, Al of Freehold and Marcy Davis and her husband, Gabriel of Barnegat; seven nieces and nephews, Christina, Jessica, Grace, Christopher, Gabriel, Eliana and Gino; and his two spoiled dogs, Nico and Rocco; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A gathering will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, May 12, 2023, from 4:00 to 5:30 PM with his funeral service to follow.
