Obituary of Jennie Camuto
Jennie Camuto, 99, of Jackson passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Monmouth Medial Center Southern-Campus, Lakewood. She was born, raised, and had lived in Manhattan for 28 years. Jennie lived in Brooklyn for 22 years, Staten Island for 27 years, and settled in Jackson 22 years ago. Jennie worked as a Button Machine Operator for many years. She loved where she lived and was very social. Jennie could get along with anyone no matter their age and was seen as a mother figure to many. She was an avid reader, a passion she passed on to her family, and enjoyed her daytime soap operas. Jennie was an amazing listener throughout her life and was truly selfless. Above all, she will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who was devoted to her family.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Frank Camuto. Jennie is survived by her children, Salvatore Camuto of Jackson, and Frank Camuto of Staten Island; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:00 AM funeral service on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at the Funeral Home.
