Obituary of Daniel Grogg

Daniel S. Grogg, 54, of Howell passed away at home on Friday, February 15, 2013. He was born in Cincinnati, OH, grew up in Scotch Plains and had lived in Lakewood before moving to Howell in 2003. Dan was Senior Vice President of Customer Service for Evergreen Shipping Agency, Jersey City at the time of his passing. He loved the game of golf and was an enthusiastic Yankees fan. Dan was predeceased by his parents, Arthur Grogg, Jr. and Mary Anne Grogg. He is survived by his wife, Susan V. Grogg of Howell; his son, Scott D. Grogg of Howell; two brothers, Mark Grogg and his wife, Debbie of North Hanover and Jerry Grogg and his wife, Kathy of Watchung; two brothers-in-law, William Thomas, Jr. and his wife, Judy of Wall and Mark Thomas and his wife, Debbie of Clark; one sister, Judy Hvizdak and her husband, Ed of Scotch Plains; one sister-in-law, Karen Wengert and her husband, Ron of Manalapan; and many loving nieces and nephews. Visiting at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, February 18, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 for his 11:00 AM funeral service.
