Obituary of Joshua Hall
Josh Hall, 37, of Howell passed away peacefully while surrounded by his family on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was born and raised in Neptune and moved to Howell 10 years ago. Josh was an extremely hard and dedicated worker. He was the owner of Dave and Sheila’s Airsoft at the Collingwood Auction, a store he would visit since he was a kid and in later years was very proud of becoming a partner. Josh took great pride in being a tow truck driver for Accurate Towing Service where he considered them to be his second family.
Josh was solid, his character never faltered; he was always generous, kind spirited, and loyal because when Josh loved, he loved hard. The simplest things in life, like a good steak, brought him great joy. He was thoughtful, funny and full of love. He had a magnificent sense of humor and was always cracking jokes. Josh could make anybody smile. In keeping his memory alive, whenever you see a rubber duck, think of him and smile.
Josh is predeceased by his mother, Jacqueline Hall; and brother, Jeremy Mele. He is lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend, Jennifer Zboray of Jackson; siblings, Daniel Mele of Ohio, Babbette Lysandrou and her husband, Stanley of Freehold and Lawrence Mele of Wall; stepfather, Robert Beverly of Freehold; nieces and nephews, Sara, Emily, Nicole, Aiden, Steven, Emmah and Jake; mother-in-law, Kathleen Zboray; brother-in-law, Steve Zboray and his wife, Kristi; and his turtle, Squirt.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM with his graveside service to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Howell Township. For information, directions, or to leave condolence messages to the family, please visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com
