Thomas F. Brady, 73, of Jackson passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 19, 2023.  He was born in Englewood, NJ, to the late Dorothy and Vincent Brady. He was appointed to West Point but was unable to attend due to an injury.  He attended King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. His career was in the automotive industry, in the credit division, first with Ford Motor Credit and then with Isuzu Credit.  In 1999, while working as the regional manager in Virginia, Tom was involved in a car accident that changed the course of his life. He became totally disabled.  Prior to his disability, Tom coached his son’s teams in soccer, basketball, and baseball. His years of coaching were a highlight of his life. He cheered on Notre Dame, the Giants and the Mets. He enjoyed attending the Army Navy game with family and friends. He also traveled to Ireland and South Bend in support of the fighting Irish with a group of his friends.

While living in Farmingdale, he became a Eucharistic minister at St. Catherine of Siena Church and altar server under pastor, Father Mike Vona. He also delivered Meals on Wheels in Howell. Unfortunately, because of his disability he could no longer volunteer his time.

Tom loved to vacation in Lake Placid, New York, but Fourth Lake in Old Forge, New York was also a favorite.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Vinnie in 1979. His in-laws, Flora and Michael Casal, and sister-in-law, Denise Thomas.  Tom is survived by his devoted wife, of almost 52 years Carmela (Casal), his beloved son, David and wife Karen. Their cherished children, Erin, Kyle, and Meghan, of Howell. His beloved son, Sean and wife Amanda, and their cherished children, McKenna, Elyse, Keegan and Declan, of Jackson. His loving sister, Louise and husband Timmy, of Middleburg, NY. His brother-in-law, Ed Thomas, of Old Bridge. His cousin, Fran Forrest of Rockford, MI.

He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins that he loved dearly. Tom was very passionate about his family and friends. He treasured their friendships and love.
