Obituary of Mary Ujhazy
Mary Ujhazy of Red Bank passed away at Hackensack Meridian Health Nursing and Rehabilitation on Sunday, July 2, 2023, her 83rd birthday. She was born and raised in Newark, and had lived in Roselle Park, Cliffwood Beach, and Holmdel. Mary had a bountiful vegetable and flower garden and loved to cook authentic Hungarian food. She enjoyed watching the Game Show Network, tending to her koi pond, and taking trips to Florida. Mary’s greatest love was her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Antal Ujhazy; and sister, Marion Tattoli; and brother, George Szollosi. Mary is survived by her children, Nancy Runzer and her husband, Jim of Lancaster, PA, Anthony Ujhazy and his wife, Michelle of Howell, and Linda Derby of Pitman; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; her twin sister, Anna Labazzo; her brother, Jimmy Szollosi; niece, Cheryl Labazzo; and nephew, Anthony Tattoli.
