Obituary of Tamara M. Kniazew

Tamara M. Kniazew, 79, of Jackson passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus in Lakewood.  Tamara was born in Russia and had lived and worked in Moscow before immigrating to the United States in 1991.  She was a brilliant construction engineer who was involved in developing and overseeing some of the most intricate architectural projects in Moscow. 

Tamara was predeceased by her three husbands, Nikolai, Alexander, and Nikolai.  She is survived by her daughter, Elena Schafer of Jackson; two grandchildren, Inna Pakovics of Rutherford and Tatiana Braim and her fiancé, Raffaele Paravizzini of Brooklyn; and two great-grandchildren, Sophia, and Alexander. 

A Pannyhida (The Memorial Service) will be held at St. Alexander Nevsky R.O. Cathedral, 200 Alexander Avenue, Howell, NJ on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at 6:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:00 AM Funeral Service at the St. Alexander Nevsky R.O. Cathedral on Wednesday, July 5, 2023.  Interment will follow in St. Vladimir R.O.
