Obituary of Elizabeth Gravatt
Elizabeth A. "Betty" Gravatt, 62, of Farmingdale passed away on Monday, November 28, 2011 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune Township, NJ. She was a born in Neptune Township and was a lifelong Farmingdale/Howell Township resident. Betty was currently employed by Howell Township as a bus driver for Senior Services. Elizabeth was previously employed by Coast Cities Coaches, Neptune City, Central Jersey Bank, Freehold and also worked in Monmouth County Library, Freehold. She was a graduate of Freehold Regional High School. Betty was a member of the Ardena Baptist Church, Howell Township. She enjoyed bowling at Howell Lanes.
Betty was predeceased by twin daughters, Tammy Gravatt and Elizabeth Gravatt. She is survived by her husband, John W. Gravatt, Howell, NJ; a son, Joseph Gravatt, Howell, NJ; two brothers, David Voorhees, Trenton, FL and Robert Voorhees, Portland, OR; two sisters, Ruth Vitola, Farmingdale, NJ and JoAnn Voorhees, Farmingdale, NJ; many nieces and nephews including a special niece, Erica.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road, (Route524) Freehold Township on Friday, December 2, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services at the funeral home at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 3, 2011. Interment at Ardena Baptist Church Cemetery, Howell Township, NJ.
