Obituary of Debra Keck

Debra "Debby" Keck, 61, of Lakewood passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at her home with her family be her side. She was a lifelong resident of Rockaway before moving to Lakewood in 2019. Debby was an Insurance Underwriter working for various companies such as, Zurich North America, Quincy Mutual Fire Insurance Company, AIG Insurance Company and before her retirement American Millennium Insurance Company. An avid reader, Debby would often escape into a good book. She was a talented artist and would enjoy making art with pencils, pastels, and charcoal. Debby found great peace when doing one of her projects. She was a creative mind and mentored many throughout her life. Debby was happiest when she was with her family. Her grandchildren, Caleigh, and Clover were an endless joy to her brightening her day through their endless love and affection. In her last few months, Debby rested comfortably in her home, surrounded by the love and tender care of her family, and by a circle of special caregivers who added much to the quality of her days. Debby is survived by her three children, Gregory Keck and his wife, Meghan of Brick, Michelle Keck of Lakewood, and Meghan MacEwen of Morristown: two granddaughters, Caleigh, and Clover.
