Obituary of Matthew Forbes Kyle

Matthew Forbes Kyle, 55, of Howell passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Johnson City, New York, raised in South Brunswick, and settled in Howell in 2016. Matthew retired from the State Department of Corrections in Trenton as a Major and continued to serve and protect following his retirement. Matthew leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories that will forever remain in our hearts. He was a remarkable man whose presence brought warmth and security to all who knew him. His unwavering commitment to his family and friends was the foundation of his life. He was a loving husband, and a devoted father and son. Throughout his life, he pursued his dreams with determination and perseverance. Whether it was his career, hobbies, or relationships, he approached everything with an infectious enthusiasm and a genuine zest for life. His memory will continue to inspire us all to live with compassion, kindness, and gratitude.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, July 17, 2023, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 11:00 AM funeral service at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. Interment will be private.
