Obituary of Linda Williams

Linda Williams, 74, of Howell passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch.  A lifelong resident of Monmouth County, she was a devoted member of the Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church who loved the Church and music.  Linda was a customer service representative for the Star Ledger prior to her retirement in 2010.  She believed that everyone deserved a card for every special event or just to say hello.  Linda loved trips to various places and visiting parks.  She loved watching Little House on the Prairie and Shark Tank.  Linda was an amazing mother and a strong woman who loved family holidays, especially Christmas, and taking day trips with her family.

She was predeceased by her husband, Dale Williams, Sr.; and sisters, Janice Bliss and Sandra Haller.  Linda is survived by two sons, Dale Williams and his wife, Erika, and Mark Williams; granddaughter, Emily Williams; sister, Wendy Weimer; and daughter-in-law, Patricia Williams. 

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, July 21, 2023 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:00 AM funeral service at the funeral home on Saturday, July 22, 2023.  Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, West Farms Road, Howell.  For information, directions or to leave condolence messages to the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com
