Obituary of Denise Carbone

Denise Carbone, 62, of Brooklyn passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at New Vanderbilt Rehabilitation and Care Center, Staten Island.  She was born in the Bronx and raised in Brooklyn before becoming a resident of Staten Island eight years ago. Denise was a friend to all and would always treat others with kindness, compassion, and respect, three traits she exemplified to the very end.  Her laughter and wit will always make her family and friends smile.  Her family is forever grateful to the compassionate caregivers of New Vanderbilt Rehabilitation and Care Center.

Denise is predeceased by her parents, Dolores and Paul Carbone. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Farber of Freehold, NJ; three siblings, John Carbone and his fiancée, Marybeth Lang of Northport, FL, Paula Carbone Himelson and her husband, Jay of Monroe, NY, and Robert Carbone and his wife, Jodi of Santa Rosa Beach, FL;  her brother-in-law Dave Farber and his wife, Marie of IN; her niece and nephews, Deanna Longo and her husband, Aric of Bridgewater, NJ,  Andrew Himelson and his wife, Sara of Ankeny, IA,  Dia Carbone of St. Antonio, TX and Dillion Carbone of FL, Nick, Chris, and Brandon Farber of IN; and her great niece and nephews Emelia Drew Himelson, Connor Jay Himelson, and Weston Aric Longo.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:30 PM with her funeral service to follow.
