Obituary of Judy Girellini

Judy Girellini, 76, of Freehold passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. She was born and raised in Queens before moving to Freehold in 1973 where she raised her family.  Judy graduated from Queens College with a degree in Nursing, however her love for animals took her on an alternative career route and she later became veterinary tech as well as worked in a Dog Daycare. Politically astute, Judy held a firm belief in the 7 Core Principles of Conservatism with a passion for truth that informed her worldview. She was an avid reader and had a lifelong love for learning. Judy felt most at peace when she was surrounded by her dogs. She adored her granddaughters, Jillian, and Emma, they were an endless joy to her brightening her day with their endless love for their “Gigi”.

She was predeceased by her parents, Bruno and Eugenie Bombardi and her brother, Robert Bombardi. Judy is survived by her husband, Bill Girellini of Freehold; two children, Dan Girellini of San Francisco and Jenine Girellini of Freehold; two granddaughters, Jillian and Emma; two sisters, Pamela Bombardi and Carol Bombardi.

A gathering of friends will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township from 2:00 to 6:00 PM on Wednesday, August 9, 2023. Interment will be private. The dress code for the service is "informal" come as you are.
