Obituary of Gloria Bravoco
Gloria Bravoco, 95, of Freehold Township passed away surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and other family members on Monday, August 14, 2023. She was born and raised in Cranford and lived in Roselle, where she spent most of her life, before settling in Freehold Township. She enjoyed her daily walks around the lake in Warinanco Park with all her friends. She loved watching her sons ice hockey games, her grandson’s baseball and football games, and her granddaughter’s soccer games and cheering events. She never wanted to miss out on anything and lived her life to the fullest. Gloria was a sweet, warm, selfless, and loving woman, known by all affectionately as Momma B. Gloria treasured her family above everything else, especially having all of them with her to celebrate the holidays.
She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Rose Massa; and sisters, Mary Lugara and Tina Silvestri. Gloria is survived by her sons, Pat Bravoco and his wife, Margarita of Clinton, and Frank Bravoco and his wife, Maria of Manalapan; daughter, Rose Colabelli and her husband, Vinnie of Freehold Township; seven grandchildren, Frankie Bravoco and his wife, Kristyn, Michael Bravoco and his wife, Loren, Gianna Colabelli, Joey Colabelli, Valentina Colabelli, Nicholas Bravoco and Christian Bravoco; and two great grandsons, Michael Luciano Bravoco and Santino Pasquale Bravoco.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:30 AM Funeral Mass on Friday, August 18, 2023 at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township.
