Obituary of Lily A. Davison
Lily A. Davison, 94, of Freehold passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at The Manor Rehabilitation, Freehold. She was born in Monroe Township and was raised in Jamesburg and had lived in Colts Neck before moving to Monmouth Crossing in 2018. She met her high school sweetheart at Jamesburg High School and they later married starting their marriage of 57 years. Lily graduated from the Wilfred Beauty School in Newark and had worked at Milazzo’s Beauty Salon in New Brunswick. In her later years, Lily worked at Delicious Orchards where she would make the fruit and bakery baskets. Forever in pursuit of remaining busy, Lily was the past president of Jamesburg Fire Departments Ladies Auxiliary. She turned her hobby of knitting into volunteering at CentraState Medical Center where she would make the new babies their hats. Lily enjoyed the game of golf and bowling. When not busy with her many activities, Lily could be found camping and traveling with her family.
She is predeceased by her husband, William W. Davison; parents, Samuel and Beatrice Bartlett and her son-in-law, Gerry Dobenski. Lily is survived by her three children, Pam Dobenski of Monroe Township, Robert Davison of Piney Flats, TN and Kim Fay of Freehold; four grandchildren, Ashlee Torres and her husband, Michael, Conner Fay and his wife, Leanna, Alexander Fay and his dog, Lily and Samantha Davison; two great grandchildren, Valetin Torres and Hazel Fay.
