Obituary of Paul B. Winans

Paul B. Winans, 76, of Howell passed away at home on Wednesday, August 30, 2023.  He was born and raised in Jersey City and lived in Palisades Park before settling here in 1987.  A hard-working man, Paul worked for Pathmark for 50 years, retiring as a store manager. An outdoorsman, Paul loved traveling to national parks, was an avid archer, and taught his kids how to fish. He enjoyed bowling, solving puzzles and reading historical fiction and mystery novels. 

He was predeceased by his brother, Frederick; and two sisters, Marlene and Onley.  Paul is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patricia Winans; sons, Marc Winans and his wife, Danyelle of Doylestown, PA, and Matthew Winans of Pt. Pleasant; daughter, Rebecca Martinez and her husband, Nick of San Diego, CA; and three grandchildren, Ethan, Natalie and Nico.
