Obituary of Lesley Ann Persily

Lesley Ann Persily, 72, of Freehold Township passed away at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township on Thursday, September 7, 2023.  She was born and raised in the Bronx, lived in Old Bridge and settled here in 2012.  Lesley loved to take cruises, go on vacation, and do jigsaw puzzles.  Her grandchildren were her greatest treasure and lovingly referred to her as Minnie,    

Lesley was predeceased by her son, Heath S. Persily in 2020; her sister, Rita; and brother, Billy.  She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Arnold F. Persily; daughter, Brooke Dzieciol and her husband, Chris; grandchildren, Dylan, Hailie, Megan, Brayden, Heather and Carson; her son’s girlfriend, Melissa Weber; and her canine companion, Diesel. 

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, September 10, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon with her funeral service to follow at Noon.  Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Saddle Brook.  For those who desire, memorial contributions in Lesley’s name may be made to the Monmouth County SPCA, 260 Wall Street, Eatontown, NJ 07724.  For information, directions or to leave condolence messages to the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com
