Obituary of Angelo Tirone

Angelo Tirone, 84, of Howell Township, NJ, USA and Casale Monferrato, Province Alessandria, Italy passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Ocean Medical Center at Brick.  Angelo was born, raised and lived his whole life in Casale Monferrato.  He worked for the Patelec Group in Italy until his retirement and would travel back and forth from Casale Monferrato to Howell Township to be with his sons.  Angelo relished his time at home, tending to his gardens and his wine.  He enjoyed dancing with his wife and watching his old movies.  Yet his love for his family knew no boundaries.

Angelo was predeceased by his sister, Maria Cavallo.  He is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Assunta; a son, Ezio Tirone and his wife, Valeria of Howell Township and their son, Angelo; a son, Marco Tirone of Casale Monferrato; and two brothers-in-law and four sisters-in-law and their families. 

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.  Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 9:00 AM for the procession to his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at the Church of St. Veronica, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell.  Inurnment will be in Italy.  For those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 of HERE.  For information, directions or condolence messages to the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com.
