Douglas N. “Doug” MacKenzie, 86, of Howell passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Elizabeth and was raised in Newark before moving to Howell in 1965. Doug worked as an Engineer for Lors Machinery. He enjoyed bowling, his visits to the racetrack and trips to Atlantic City with his friends. Doug was a beloved and devoted Father, Pop, and Friend to many.

He is predeceased by his wife, Shirley MacKenzie. Doug is survived by his four children, Debbie Deane and her husband, Brian of Lanoka Harbor, Kim Leyden and her husband, Jeff of Treasure Island, FL, Don Mackenzie and his wife, Tina of Manasquan and Kelly Thomas and her husband, Christopher of Sewell; eight grandchildren, Brandon, Austin, Hunter, Jake, Emily, Douglas, Corey and Carson.
