Condolences
I grew up with Aunt Vi more as a sister, as with all the aunts, she was only 13 years older than me and used to watch out for me.
She was always very generous with her gifts too and I have a beautiful pearl necklace with different color pearls that I of course still have. I spent most of my time at nana's house, went there from school for lunch and back after school, went home
to eat and back to Nana's so I was always there with her and Aunt Millie til I went home again. Most of my friends were on 84thst, I lived around the corner on 83rd. So, I always felt I was part of the sisters and yes, as everyone remembers she was funny, my husband always said, "your aunt is good for a laugh". You were lucky to have so many years with but I would think she knew it was time to go home and went peacefully. So, Gerard, Paula and her beautiful granddaughters my deep sorrow for your loss and for all of us. God Bless....love Anna
Gerard, Paula, Danielle and Samantha, Blaise and I send sincere condolences on the passing of Aunt Vi. She was blessed to have you all in her life and I'm sure that fueled her to live to 102, a beautiful life fulfilled. We moved to Florida in 1976 so missed a lot of family functions but I have all my memories growing up at Grandma's house filled with love, food, fun and sometimes crazy times. May your memories be with you always. I know Aunt Vi is now with her husband and siblings celebrating.
Gerard and Paula, may your memories be a source of comfort to you. I have wonderful memories of Sunday’s at grandma’s where we were all together feasting, playing and truly enjoying each other’s company. Your mom always kept us laughing. No doubt, she is at peace as she returns home to her family. Our sincere condolences, Ron and Michele
