Obituary of Maria Piccinich
Maria Piccinich, 82, of Manalapan passed at her residence with her loving family surrounding her on January 15, 2024. She was born in Croatia and immigrated to the United States in 1957 living in Hoboken and Palisades Park before settling in Manalapan in 1997. Maria worked as a seamstress for the ILGWU. She created a perfect home, filled with love and delicious aromas from her superb cooking. Maria loved her family deeply and would rarely miss a chance to talk to people about them. Her will and determination to live and to enjoy life will be long remembered.
Maria is predeceased by her parents, Martino and Domenica Hroncich; and daughter, Anna Morin. She is survived by her husband, Nicola Piccinich; son-in-law, Mario Morin; granddaughter, Angela Kurczeski; two great grandchildren, Gianna and Jack; two sisters, Antonia Scrivanich and Dominica Picinic and her husband, John; brother, Martino Hroncich and his wife, Catherine; brother-in-law, Sergio Piccinich; and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road, Freehold Township on Sunday, January 21, 2024, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:00 AM Funeral Mass on Monday, January 22, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Church, 91 Stillhouse Road, Millstone, NJ 08510. Entombment will take place at St Gabriel's Cemetery & Chapel Mausoleum, 549 County Route 520, Marlboro, NJ 07746. Memorial contributions in Maria’s name can be made to Liv Like a Unicorn.
