Obituary of Ronald L. Burdge
Ronald L. Burdge, 81, of Wall passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, January 22, 2024 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Ronald was born in Neptune and was raised and lived in Howell until moving to Wall sixty years ago. He retired as a custodian for the Howell Township Board of Education at Ardena School from 1970 until retirement in 1997. Ronald was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and a fan of NASCAR. Most recently, he was very into iRacing. Yet the outdoors called to Ronald and hunting was his passion.
Ronald was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Veronica. He is survived by his wife, Edna; two children, Annette Savoie and her husband, Gregory of New London, NC and Steven Burdge of Haslet, TX; a grandson, Steven James Burdge; and two sisters, Sarah Jean Paradise of Virginia and Nanette Meckler and her husband, Harold of Arizona.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, January 26, 2024 from 9:00 AM with words of remembrance at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Farmingdale.
