Obituary of Thomas R. Yaeger

Thomas R. "Tom" Yaeger, 68 years old, was born in Manhattan, NY and passed away on January 30, 2024 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune, NJ.

Tom joined the Air Force at Lakeland Air Force Base in Arizona and proudly served his country!

Tom began his career at Freehold Twp. Parks and Recreation and retired in 2019.

In retirement, Tom was able to spend time working on his beloved classic muscle cars.

He was the founder and President of the Old Glory Cruisers Car Club.

Tom was a very active member of the Veteran Community Alliance of Freehold.  One of Tom’s passions was the Freehold Township Day in which he ran a car show where he raised thousands of dollars for local Disabled Veterans over the 16 years that he was responsible for this event.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Helena Yaeger, and his 4 siblings Charles A., Richard, Michael, and Susie.
