Obituary of Angelo Finocchiaro
Angelo Finocchiaro, 83, of Howell passed away at Jersey Shore University Medical Center on Friday, February 2, 2024. Born and raised in Regalbuto, Italy, Angelo made the life-altering decision at the age of 20 to leave Italy and move to Argentina. There he met his wife, Vincenza, and together they sought a new beginning in the United States. He settled in the vibrant city of Brooklyn, where he embraced a new culture and forged lasting friendships. Eventually, he found a home in Howell. Angelo was a skilled machinist by profession, dedicating his career to his craft. He possessed an innate talent for working with tools and machinery, which led him to become a respected figure in his field. His expertise and craftsmanship were admired by all who knew him. However, Angelo's most significant accomplishments were not measured by professional success, but rather by his devotion to his family. He was a loving husband, father, Nonno, and friend who always placed the needs of his loved ones above his own. Angelo's unwavering support, guidance, and unconditional love were the pillars that held his family together. Rest in peace, dear Angelo. May your soul find eternal peace and may your legacy continue to inspire future generations.
He is predeceased by his parents, Gaetano and Luisa Finocchiaro and sister, Franca Finocchiaro. Angelo is survived by his wife, Vincenza Finocchiaro of Howell; two sons, Eddie Finocchiaro and his wife, Grace of Howell and Marcelo Finocchiaro of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; two grandsons, Matthew and Jonathan; and brother and sisters, Vito Finocchiaro, Laura Montalbano, and Mela Modena all of Long Island, NY.
