Obituary of Barbara Wolf
Brick Township resident, Barbara Wolf, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 66. Barbara was born in Newark, New Jersey to Mercedes and Paul Wolf. She attended Frank H. Morrell High School in Irvington, New Jersey and received her associate degree from Ocean County College. From 1989 to 2018, she was an Insurance Representative at Atlantic Medical Imaging Center (formerly NJ Diagnostic Imaging Center). From 2004 to 2018 she worked weekends as a Salesclerk at Tropical Expressions in Point Pleasant Borough. Her coworkers remember her as dedicated, wholehearted, kind, compassionate, and an authentic people person.
To her family, Barbara was a devoted Christian woman, whose heart was tender, sweet, and kind. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her. She was the most compassionate and selfless person, who devoted her life to taking care of her mother, sister, and stepfather until their final days on earth. Barbara was an animal lover and advocate, who loved all wildlife, nature, and her beloved cats. Her angelic spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
Barbara is survived by her niece, Niki Wolf and her son Dresdan Lewis, her niece Katelynne Wolf and husband Ryan Ballou and their daughter Stella Ballou, her stepbrother George Rummel III and stepsister Nancy Torre. She is also survived by her beloved cats Snickers and Patches, as well as her closest friends Helga Runo, Debbie Budsock, Patti Wallace, Dr. Sai and Shamila Tramutolo.
Barbara was predeceased by her father Paul Wolf, mother Mercedes Rummel, stepfather George Rummel, sister Gloria Boehmler, brother Peter Wolf and best friend Donna Surman.

Inurnment will take place at 10:30 AM on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Ocean County Memorial Park, 1722 Silverton Road, Toms River, NJ 08753.
