Obituary of Angelo G. Pantano
Angelo G. Pantano, 94, of Freehold passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at his residence. He was born and raised in Manhattan and had lived in Staten Island, Holmdel, and Florida before settling in Freehold in 2008. Angelo was known for his quick wit, talent, and loving nature. He worked as the Chief Engineer at Louis Berger, where he excelled in his field. Throughout his life, Angelo was known for his many talents and hobbies. He was a skilled furniture maker, a talented dancer, and had a knack for telling funny jokes that would always bring a smile to those around him. He was affectionately known as " Grandpa and Poppa P" to his family, who cherished his sense of humor and warmth. Angelo will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of laughter, love, and talent will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Angelo is predeceased by his son, Salvatore Pantano. He is survived by his wife, Mary Pantano; three children, Bernadette Nagel and her husband, Richard of Monmouth Beach, Camille Daugherty and her husband, Thomas of Freehold and Nicholas Pantano of Florida; daughter in law, Susan Pantano of Farmingdale; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, March 1, 2024, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 10:30 AM Funeral Mass at the Co- Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township on Saturday, March 2, 2024.
