Obituary of Alevtina "Alla" Zilberg

Alevtina “Alla” Zilberg, 74, of Freehold passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Alla was a Chemical Engineer who worked as a Quality Assurance Group Leader for OHM Labs for many years, inspiring her co-workers with her high energy and positivity. She took great pride in her work as a representative for Mary Kay, which gave her an outlet for her creativity, passion, and style. Alla exuded beauty and loved helping others see the beauty in themselves.  She found great joy in gardening, reading, and cooking. She enjoyed hosting, with particular pride in holidays like New Years and Thanksgiving.  Alla lived to take care of those around her. She personified sweetness and kindness, and was loved by everyone who knew her-work friends, neighbors, and even in her difficult final days, the nurses and aides who helped ease her passing. Alla valued her family above all things, and was a close confidant and best friend to her three grandchildren. 

She is survived by her beloved husband, Grigoriy Zilberg; children, Olga Steinhauser and her husband, Dan, and Alex Zilberg and his wife, Aneta Zieleniewska; grandchildren, Lia, Adina, and Aaron; sister, Olga Panevina and her husband, Vladimir; nephews, Eugene and his wife Natasha, and Dmitri and his wife, Krista; great nephews, David and Samuel and great niece Vasilisa; and brother-in-law, Konstantin Zilberg and his wife, Ella.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, March 3, 2024 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
