One of the things I remember most as a kid was my Mom doing the payroll for my Father's masonry company each week at the dinner table, it reminded me that although it was a business, it was still a family. In my time working for Marbelite one of my tasks was to make sure we had the "time sheets ready" so she could do the payroll each week. I'd make sure all the hours were there and she could get everyone paid. In a small way it was a lovely memory that kept me realizing that I didn't just work for a company, I worked for a family much like the business that my parents ran. Whenever Barbara and I spoke, I was treated like one of her own and in today's world that meant a lot. Thanks for being Marbelite's "mom" all those years.
