Obituary of Betty Masini
Betty Masini, 90, of Manchester passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus. She was born and raised in Brooklyn and had lived on Staten Island before moving to Manchester in 2000. Betty was a talented interior decorator for Randall Decorators on Staten Island, where she poured her creativity and passion into every project she worked on. She was a proud Columbiette for the Knights of Columbus in Manchester, where she dedicated her time and energy to serving the community. Betty enjoyed dancing with her beloved husband, Bruno, singing, and expressing her creativity through various crafts. She was a religious woman who found comfort and strength in her faith. Betty's greatest joy was her family, whom she loved dearly. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great ama and dear friend to all who knew her.
She is predeceased by her husband, Bruno Masini and daughter, Karen Weinstein. Betty is survived by her three children, Donna Masini of Manhattan, Gregg Masini and his wife, Michal, of Los Angeles, David Masini and his husband, Isaac Rodriguez of Howell; son in law, Paul Weinstein; three grandchildren, Mallory Kusterer and her husband, Matt, of Westminster, Maryland, David Anthony Masini of Los Angeles and Ethan Masini of Los Angeles; two great grandchildren, Ryan Kusterer and Jacob Kusterer; one brother, Frank (Sonny) LaMorte and his wife Mary, of Millstone and many nieces and nephews who adored her.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, March 17, 2024, from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Monday, March 18, 2024, at 9:00 AM for her funeral service. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, 3620 Tilden Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11203.
