Obituary of Kathy M. Stewart

Kathleen M. Stewart, 71, of Freehold passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. She was born in Jersey City and was raised in Palisades Park and Cliff Side Park before settling in Freehold in 1986. Kathy had a passion for traveling and vacationing, always eager to explore new places and experience different cultures. She had a deep love for music and attended countless concerts over the years, finding joy and solace in the melodies. Kathy was also a sports enthusiast, cheering on her favorite teams with unwavering loyalty. In her spare time, she could be found engrossed in a good book, her love for reading never wavering. She also had a soft spot for her birds, caring for them with tenderness and compassion.

Kathy was predeceased by her parents, Russell and Audrey Jones. She is survived by her husband, Charles “Randy” Stewart of Freehold; sister, Sharon Martin and her husband, Michael of Waretown; brother-in-law, Clay Stewart and his wife, Cheryl of Rockaway; sister-in-law, Leslie Boss and her husband, Richard of Hampton and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 3:00 to 6:30 PM with her funeral service to begin at 6:30 PM.
