Obituary of Richard N. Howard Sr.

Richard N. Howard, Sr., 88, of Monmouth County, passed away peacefully at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township on Thursday, March 21, 2024.  Pop was born, raised and lived in Brooklyn until moving to New Jersey in 1999.  He had lived in Monmouth, Camden and Ocean Counties.  Richard was a United States Marine Corps veteran serving during the Korean War.  He retired as a supervisor for the City of New York Parks and Recreation Department with just short of 20 years of dedicated service. 

Pop was predeceased by his parents, Kermit and Sadie Howard.  He is survived by his wife, Clemencie Howard; his children; grandchildren; siblings; nieces and nephews; cousins.
