LeRoy F. Malsbury Obituary

LeRoy F. Malsbury, Sr., 101, of Red Oak, VA, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. Born on December 14th, 1922 in Imlaystown, NJ, Leroy was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend.


LeRoy served his country in the Army during WWII in the Pacific Theater and was a dedicated foreman for the Department of Transportation for over 30 years. He was a graduate of Allentown High School in the year 1940 and was a hardworking and dedicated man who always put his family first. He was a previous member of the Ardena Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing after retirement.


He is survived by his daughters, Barbara Olszanowski and Evelyn O'Donnell and her husband, Thomas; sons, Howard Malsbury, LeRoy F. Malsbury and his wife, Barbara, John Malsbury and his wife, Susan, and Richard Malsbury and his wife, Ann; 14 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren. LeRoy was predeceased by his beloved wife of 62 years, Mary; parents, Roy and Lillian Malsbury; brother, Harold Malsbury; and sister, Dorothy.


Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 11:00 AM funeral service at the Funeral Home on Friday, April 5, 2024. Interment will follow in Emley’s Hill Cemetery, 69 Emleys Hill Road, Cream Ridge.
