Obituary of Philip Considine
Philip Considine, 91, of Brick passed away at Monmouth Crossing Assisted Living on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. He was born in Brooklyn and had lived in Staten Island and North Carolina before settling in New Jersey in 2024. He was a devoted plumber for the New York City Water Department, retiring in 1983. Philip was also a proud member of the Knights of Columbus and was a former parishioner of Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church in New Bern, NC. In his free time, Philip enjoyed softball, playing golf, and bowling. He was a loyal Mets fan and loved traveling and watching TV.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Lorraine Caporle Considine. Philip is survived by his wife, Joan Considine of North Carolina; two sons, Philip Considine and his wife, Linda of Millstone Township and Richard Considine and his wife, Donna of Brick; two grandchildren, Richard Considine and Kristina Kembel and her husband, Dan and two great grandchildren, Samantha and Madison.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, April 12, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM with his funeral service to follow at 6:30 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home at 8:00 AM on Saturday, April 13, 2024, for the procession to his 10:30 AM graveside service at St. Johns Cemetery, 80-01 Metropolitan Avenue, Queens, NY 11379.
