She was such a bright light in that store. She will be missed. I do not know what happened to her but it’s a total shock and awfully sad. Sincere condolences to her family, friends and co-workers.

Our hearts are heavy with sadness as we process the news of Melinda’s passing. We will always remember Melinda’s compassion, intellect, love, humor and intuition. She was fiercely passionate about her family as well as her extended family and friends at The Hungry Puppy. We are grateful to have known her and will miss her deeply.

A wonderful person, so caring and compassionate, full of life, loved all animals. We were truly privileged to have been graced by her presence in our world. I'm stunned by the news. For over a decade, whenever I entered THP, Melinda greeted me with a smile, ready to assist with any questions or concerns about my pet. She always made time to listen, no matter how hectic things were. My heartfelt condolences go out to her family and the THP community during this profound loss.

My deepest sympathy to Melinda's family as well as her Hungry Puppy family. She was kind & caring and terrific at her job.

Melinda was such a wonderful person. We not only enjoyed chatting with her while she was at the store working, but also entrusted her with our pups when we vacationed. She will be sorely missed, but I'm sure she's already busy taking care of lots of pups and kitties in heaven. Rest in peace.

What a wonderful person friend and care taker of all three of my dogs for over 12 years. What a joy she was to know.

Melinda was a happy lady. Always took care of my family at the hungry puppy and watched our dogs personally. Never had to worry about a thing. Always talked about our grandchildren. She was a proud mom and grandma. We will miss her terribly. May she rest in eternal peace
