Condolences
Striko Drago, we will miss you on this Earth, but we will see you again in Heaven when it is our time to feast at the table of our family from the beginning. God Bless.
Carlo Profaca, Didi was what Anna called him as a nickname. Carlo was one of the hardest working people I have ever met. He knew his craft as a tailor and he was the best, he could make a man’s suit complete and he was very proud of his craft. He and my sister Anna were married and had two children, two beautiful girls,
Sandy and Jackie who they loved very much. Carlo and Anna used to walk side-by-side Arm in arm wherever they went and he was very proud of his marriage to my sister Anna. Who was also a well accomplished seamstress, Carlo was also very proud of her as well and loved her very much. Carlo came from Yugoslavia many years ago he came on a ship that brought him to Brooklyn New York he met my sister Anna they lived in borough park Brooklyn for many years with their two beautiful children. He was always very proud, very hard-working he was always willing to help willing to do anything. He would say to me OK chief how do we do this, let’s get it done. And did it no matter what. He was always willing to do anything to help out. I will always remember how proud he was when he was making his wine. He loved wine and he made it himself. I can still remember him lifting a 5 gallon bottle of wine that he made himself. Carlo took care of his beautiful house when they moved to Millstone, New Jersey which he was very proud of. All on his own he took care of just about everything. He had some of the most beautiful fig trees anyone has ever seen and he made hundreds of figs that he most of the time gave away to everyone. They were great. I will always remember him speaking about his family in Yugoslavia and the property they had where they lived, what a beautiful place it was. He was also very proud of that I will always remember him as a never say no kind of guy who was willing to help anyone. Carlo rest in peace . Isidoro Macchiarella.
The myth, the man, the legend. He defied the odds on numerous occasions, but it was time for him to be reunited with the love of his life. He dedicated his life to his family and will always be remembered as our Srce - our heart. My Uljac - may you rest in eternal peace with your love, my Aunt Ana. Your tender soul will be missed. Karen
