Obituary of Frank Paul Buff

Frank “Mickey” Buff, 95, of Tinton Falls, passed away Monday, May 6, 2024. Born June 12, 1928, the son of the late Anna (Marco) and Michael Buff in Bayonne, NJ, Frank was a lifelong resident of Bayonne and a part-time resident of Long Beach Island before moving to Little Egg Harbor Township for 15 years. Frank served in the United States Navy from 1946 to 1948. After returning from military service, he graduated from Seton Hall University and was proprietor of Nice Day Cleaners in Bayonne with his father, Michael. Frank was a special education teacher at Bayonne High School for over 30 years. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, friend, and much more. He enjoyed the later years of his life at Sea Oaks in Little Egg Harbor with friends he made in the community.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife of over 60 years, Marie (Fiumefreddo) Buff and his sister, Grace Scerbo (Fred). Surviving are his daughter, Ann Marie (Buff) Miragliotta and her husband Anthony, grandson Salvatore, and many other family members.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial gathering at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 12:00 to 4:00 PM.
