Obituary of Anne L. Tracy

Anne L. Tracy, 86, of Freehold passed away at CentraState Medical Center on Saturday, May 11, 2024, surrounded by her nieces and nephew. She was born and raised in Brooklyn and had lived in Englishtown before moving to Freehold. Anne was a dedicated accountant at a brokerage firm in Manhattan and later worked at numerous businesses including Bulk Nursery, American Hotel and Carel Pharmacy. She also worked at Battleview Orchards, where she enjoyed working the hayrides during the Halloween season and seeing the joy on children's faces. She was very active in her community at The Villages in Freehold and was a devoted parishioner at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine. Anne had a love for her Italian heritage and was proud of her roots.  Our Aunt had a wide circle of friends and loved participating in local plays, bingo and trips to Atlantic City. She was adored by all her nieces and nephews, who would eagerly vie for her attention during the holidays.

Anne was predeceased by her husband, George Tracy; brother, John Bosco; and nephew, Michael Laricy. She is survived by her sister, Frances Profaci of Freehold; sister-in-law, Paula Bosco of Freehold; eight nieces and nephews, Francine Balzofiore and her husband, Carl of Staten Island, Anne Petrillo and her husband, Philip of Leonardo, Andrew Profaci of Pocono Mountains, PA, Anne Caponegro and her husband, Scott of Freehold, Rosanna Profaci of Freehold, Joseph Bosco  and his wife, Christine of Marlboro, Jeannine Laricy of Freehold and Joan Sierp and her husband, Matthew of Marlboro; seventeen great nieces and nephews; and one great great nephew. 

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM.  Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 9:30 AM for the procession to her 10:30 AM Funeral Mass at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine. Interment will follow in Brigadier General Wm. C. Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Arneytown, NJ 08501.  In lieu of flowers for those who desire, donations in Anne’s name can be made to the Laricy Foundation, 69 Double Creek Parkway, Freehold, New Jersey 07728.
