Obituary of Lenny A. Bucher

Lenny A. Bucher, 53, of Howell passed away suddenly on May 18th, 2024, at Numidia Dragway, Locust, Pennsylvania. He was born in Elizabeth and was raised in Linden before settling in Howell in 2012. Lenny dedicated over 20 years of his life as a foreman at Joint Meetings of Essex and Union Counties. His passion was drag racing with all of his family and friends, tipping back a few Coors lights and BBQing for everyone. Lenny loved the eagles, especially when they beat the Cowboys, playing cornhole and sporting his usual visors. His greatest accomplishment in life was his family, whom he cherished above all else. Lenny was a devoted husband and a loving father, always putting his loved ones first.

He is survived by his wife, Nicole Bucher of Howell; four children, Kyle Bucher of Matawan, Frank Osty of Howell, Gianna Petito and her husband, Thomas of Howell and Isabella Osty; parents, Lawrence and Flora Bucher of Beach Haven; sister, Lisa Kaplan and her husband, Chuck of Howell; brother, Butch Bucher and his wife, Heather; and many nieces and nephews and extended family members and friends.
