Obituary of Daniel Joseph Marsillo

Daniel Joseph Marsillo, 29, of Staten Island passed away at his mother’s home on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.  He was born, raised, and had lived his whole life in the Dongan Hills section of Staten Island.  With the accomplishment of passing his Series 7, General Securities Representative Exam and Series 63, Danny started his career on Wall Street as a financial broker and trader.  He had worked for Arrive Capital and most recently at Spartan Capital.  Danny was a proud member of FINRA.  Always watching his physique, he stayed in excellent physical shape and was a frequent presence at the gym.  Danny relished the thrill of skydiving, jumping out of perfectly good airplanes with enthusiasm at Cross Keys and many other places.  With a passion for baseball, he played from little league to travel, to middle school to high school.  The relationships that Danny built through those years are still present today.  He was also a diehard NY Yankees fan.  Taking immense pride in being an American, Danny valued the freedoms and opportunities his country offered.  At the same time, he cherished his Italian heritage, celebrating the traditions and family bonds that defined his roots.  He was a loving son, brother, uncle, godfather, grandson, cousin and friend.
