Obituary of Christopher A. Jenkins
Christopher A. Jenkins, 53, of Farmingdale passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, June 1, 2024. Chris was born in Neptune and lived most of his life in Farmingdale. He was a Howell Township High School graduate and received his associates degree from Brookdale Community College. Chris was a warehouse supervisor at Restaurant Depot in South Brunswick. Previously, Chris worked at Supply Saver in Wall Township. He had a passion for music and could play several instruments including saxophone and the guitar. Always keeping fit, Chris savored his time working out. Other passions for Chris included cars, trucks, and motorcycles. He was the owner of Chris Jenkins Racing and spent much time at Wall Stadium. Chris also loved to throw down in the kitchen, watch NASCAR & Formula 1 racing, along with his favorite sports teams (Yankees, Packers, and Devils). He loved to make people laugh, and spend time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Chris was predeceased by his mother, Joyce Jenkins; and his sister, Kimberly Jenkins. He is survived by his father, Albert B. Jenkins, Farmingdale; his sister, Tracy Armstead and her husband, Vince; and nephews, Kevin and Joseph of Telford, PA. The family would also like to extend special thanks to John and Lisa Gluck, Farmingdale for always being there for Chris.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon with his funeral service to follow at 12:00 Noon.
