Obituary of Nadia Ubushin

Nadia Ubushin, 94, of Toms River passed away at home on Friday, June 21, 2024 surrounded by her family.  She was born and raised in Sofia, Bulgaria and immigrated to the United States in 1951 settling in Paterson.  She lived in North Haledon and Howell for over 20 years before moving to Toms River in 2016.  Nadia worked for Nabisco in Fair Lawn for 20 years.  She loved traveling with her late husband and also enjoyed reading. 

Nadia was predeceased by her husband, Manj Ubushin in 2014; granddaughter, Naya; and sons, Chimd and Badrhn.  She is survived by her daughter, Naya Ubushin; grandchildren, Kemma and Kira Ubushin; daughter-in-law, Lyubov Ubushin; sister, Lee Urubshurow; and niece, Narie Targiroff.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 10:00 to 10:30 AM followed by her funeral service.  Interment will follow in St. Vladimir’s R.O.
