Obituary of Donna M. Chapman

Donna M. Chapman, 65, of Freehold passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Elizabeth, raised in Linden, and settled in Freehold in 1989. Donna worked as a preschool and kindergarten teacher until changing her career to be a manager for Sunrise Senior Living for many years.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years, Steven Chapman; daughters, Amanda Parada and her husband, Lester, and Jennifer VanArtsdalen and her husband, Eric; grandchildren, Luca, Ella, and Ava; sister, Suzanne Laskodi, and extended family who loved and cared for her deeply. 

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, June 28, 2024 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass and entombment will take place privately.
