Obituary of Frances M. Lubas
Frances M. Lubas, 94, of Manalapan passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Frances was born and raised in Elizabeth, where she lived her entire life until moving to Manalapan in 2001. A woman of deep faith, she was a devoted parishioner of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Frances found joy in solving word search puzzles and watching her favorite TV shows. However, her greatest pride and happiness came from raising her three children and embracing her roles as a grandmother, great-grandmother, and great – great - grandmother.
Frances was predeceased by her husband, Edward P., son-in-law, Sal Coppa and her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, Edward T. Lubas and his wife, Ann of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, Gerald Lubas of Manalapan and Cynthia Coppa of Elizabeth; four grandchildren, Lisa Bright and her husband, Patrick, Karla Hunsicker and her husband, Kevin, Allison John and her husband, Russ and Regina Coppa, seven great grandchildren; Sarah Goss and her husband, Mitchell, Mason Bright, Hudson Hunsicker, Robert, Savannah, Emma & Ella John and a great-great granddaughter, Kinsley Mae; many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, July 29, 2024 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at 8:30 AM for the procession to her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 58 Main Street, Englishtown. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1000 East Edgar Road, Linden.
