William Zielenbach

Obituary of William Paul Zielenbach

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William "Bill" Zielenbach, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 31, 2024

Bill was born in New Jersey to Thelma and William, in 1946.  He was one of six children.  He entered this world with a heart full of love and a spirit of dedication.

Bill met the love of his life, Wanda Labudzinski, at a church dance, a moment that sparked a lifelong partnership of 56 years.

Bill served his country with honor as a member of the United States Air Force for four years, embodying the values of duty and patriotism. After his service, he dedicated his life to his craft as a union electrician (IBEW Local 675-Local 102) and master tradesman. Known for his meticulous attention to detail and perfectionism, Bill's work was a testament to his commitment to excellence.

A proud resident of Marlboro, Bill and Wanda raised their three children, Billy, Sandy, and Jason in a home filled with love, laughter, and strong values. Bill was known for his infectious laugh, big smile and a sharp sense of humor that could brighten anyone's day.  He was a gentle giant and his warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, leaving a legacy of joy and compassion.

Bill spent 4 years as a Volunteer Fireman at the Robertsville Fire Co.

Bill is survived by his devoted wife, Wanda; his children, Billy (his wife Katherine), Sandy Chirico (her husband Mike and grandchildren Nicholas  and Angelina) and Jason (his wife Anna, and grandchildren Victoria and Elizabeth). He also leaves behind his brother-in-law, Fred Labudzinski  (Barbara d. 4/2024) and nephew Stephen, four siblings and nieces and nephew.

His memory will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Bill's life was a testament to love, hard work, and joy. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
