Obituary of Gerardo Antonine Galvan
Gerardo Antonine “Gerry” Galvan, 50, of Howell Township passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. He was born in Newark and was raised in Essex and Hudson Counties. Gerry lived in Florida and Middlesex County before planting roots and a rose bush in Howell in 2020. He began studying architecture as a young adult, however turned his true passion of using his creative thinking and knack for design to interior construction and design. For the last 2 years, Gerry worked at Pyramid Office Solutions and was a man of many talents and virtues. Gerry was known for his meticulous research, his skill as the great debater, and his gentle soul. Gerry never hesitated to lend a helping hand and had a big heart that touched the lives of all who knew him. He was a man of great consideration, always putting others before himself, and was a master of the art of forgiveness. Gerry’s family was his rock, and he found joy in traveling alongside his wife to watch the foliage change every year and sipping rum swizzles on the pink shores of Bermuda. In his free time, he enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing dominoes with the gang, especially his partner, Willie, fishing, and indulging in his wife's special cheesecake.
