Obituary of Carmela Parisi
Carmela “Millie” Parisi, 93, of Freehold passed away at Care One at Wall. She was born and raised in the Tompkinsville section of Staten Island before moving to Freehold in 1989. Millie dedicated her life to caring for others and serving as a teacher’s aide at PS 19 in Staten Island. In her free time, Millie enjoyed knitting and reading, finding peace and joy in these simple hobbies. She will be remembered for her kind heart, warm smile, and generous spirit. Millie's greatest accomplishments were her unwavering love for her family and her talent for cooking delicious meals that brought everyone together. Millie cherished her time spent with her sisters on lunch dates, creating cherished memories that will be treasured forever.
She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph J. Parisi; two sisters, Felicia Forlenza and Mary-Grace Flack and brother, Pasquale Lenza. Millie is survived by her; daughter, Joanne Aitchison and her husband, Iain of Howell; son, Joseph Parisi of South Carolina four grandchildren, Nicole Giove and her husband, Justin, Kristen Parisi, Kaitlyn Parisi and Joseph Parisi; one great granddaughter, Amelia Giove ; many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, August 6th, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 7th, 2024, at 9:30 AM for the procession to her 11:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Gabriels Chapel 549 County Route 520, Marlboro, NJ 07746 with her Entombment to follow at St Gabriel's Cemetery & Chapel Mausoleums.
