William J. Goffe, 74, of Howell Township passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, August 9, 2024.  Bill was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio.  He moved to New Jersey in 1985 and settled in Howell Township.  He retired as the office manager from Urban Engineers Inc working mainly in New Jersey completing the Frank Lautenberg Train Station in Secaucus along with the Meadowlands Sports Complex Train Station in East Rutherford.  Bill's commitment to his community was evident in his lifelong service as a volunteer firefighter.  A Life Member of the Adelphia Fire Company, he fulfilled various roles including driver, fire police, and secretary.  His involvement extended to serving as treasurer of the Howell Relief Association.  Yet, his greatest pride and joy was being a cherished Pop-Pop.
