Condolences
Our heartfelt sympathy to the Anzevino family on behalf of myself and the VP-8 Alumni Association. Tony Anzevino was a great Navy pal and shipmate who served as an Aircrewman with Patrol Squadron-8 in the late 1950s and early 1960s. We were close inseparable buddies during our service years and lifelong friends. He will be sadly missed but always remembered.
Frank and I send our condolences to the entire Anzevino family. I will always have warm memories of your Dad, Mr. A. to me! He will live in the hearts of many.
With all our love,
Frank and Laura
Sandy and I send our condolences to the family of Great Anz. We worked and played hard during our Navy day and reunions.
He will always be remembered.
Dick (Arch) and Sandy Moore
Our sincere condolences to Tony's family in these tough days. I served with Tony in VP-8 years, and met up thru the years at reunions. He sure was a good man. Peace be with his family.
Sadly, Paul and Johnnie Kay Sciortino
Sincere condolences to Tony's family from another of his Patrol Squadron 8 shipmates.
My heartfelt sympathy to the Anzevino family! I and all his friends Navy shipmates and buddies from the late 1950's and early 60's will miss Tony Anzevino known dearly to many of us as the 'King _____' or Great Anz'. Tony, along with Sandy Adams, Richard 'Archie' Moore and myself, Ralph Papa were the closest of buddies through our Navy days as Aircrewmen, hunting Russian submarines during the Cold War with Patrol Squadron-8. Over these past 60 years we have stayed in touch and remained best friends. It is sad for us and all to bid farewell to such a dear friend. God rest and bless his soul!
Ralph Papa/ President, VP9 Alumni Association.
