Obituary of June Ann Hendricks
June Ann Hendricks, 87, of Howell Township passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024. She was born and raised in Jersey City and had raised her family in Belford and Middletown before settling in Howell in 2003. June was a Bank Branch Manager at Bank of America, where she dedicated over three decades of her life to serving her community. In addition to her successful career and loving family, June had a passion for tennis, turtles, crime dramas and crossword puzzles. In her prime, she enjoyed going to Giant’s games, sailing in the BVI and traveling with her husband, Bob, family and friends. Avalon beach and the Windrift Hotel always held special memories for her. She was known for her sharp wit and intelligence, always ready to tackle a new challenge or solve a difficult puzzle. June had a green thumb and enjoyed spending time nurturing her plants with care and attention. She leaves behind a legacy of love and family. Her family was her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
June is predeceased by her husband, Robert Hendricks; son-in-law, Mark Gotta; siblings, Agnes, Skip, Ed, Sal, Madeline and Maureen. June is survived by her six children: Maureen Messina (Gil) and their daughters, Anna Paris (Steven), Katie Levy (Kyle); Russell and his sons, John and Thomas; Robert (Lisa) and their children, Jake Hendricks and his partner, Katelyn O’Neill, and Ruthanne Davis (Hunter); Beth Selsky (Mitch) and their children, Michael, Ray and Kevin and his partner, Rebecca Lee; Dan (Karianne) and their children, Aidan Hendricks and Macy; and Kate Gotta (and the late Mark Gotta) and their children, Casey and her partner, Ty Sebor, and Ryan; and daughter-in-law, Kim Hendricks. June is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren, Orion and Mathilda Paris and many loving extended family members.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia (Route 524), Freehold Township, on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM with her funeral service to follow.
