Obituary of Belinda M. Jackson

Belinda M. Jackson, 77, of Jackson peacefully passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 with her family by her side. She was born in Hoboken and raised in Jersey City. She lived in Howell for over 20 years before settling in Jackson in 2012. Belinda was an honored heart transplant recipient for more than 20 years. Belinda enjoyed arts and crafts in her spare time, especially loving to knit, sew, scrapbook, and create amazing hand made cards for any occasion. Above all, she lived for time with her grandchildren and quality time spent with family.

She was predeceased by her father, Dorsey Ranker; mother, Lorraine Persico; brothers, Thomas and Joseph; niece, Melissa; nephew, Joseph, Jr.; many brothers-in-law; and many sisters-in-law. Belinda is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, John Jackson of Jackson; children, Chris Jackson of Jackson, Michele Memmolo and her husband, Louis of Howell, and Jack Jackson, Jr. and his wife, Jamie of Mt. Pleasant, SC; grandchildren, Kayla, Ryan, Madelyn, Makenzie, Brady, Connor, and Abigail; and siblings, Kathy, Michael, Dwayne, and Eugene.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, September 16, 2024 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson.
